How to connect to Internet via Wi-Fi at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.

You can use free Internet connection via Wi-Fi (IEEE802.11b/g) at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.


This is a instruction for using Internet connection via Wi-Fi by iPhone.

Please come close to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. There is hotspot.
Google Maps are below.

But it is only available on below times.



March, April, May, June, July: 8:30AM - 7:00PM

August:                        8:30AM - 8:00PM

September, October, November:  8:30AM - 7:00PM

December, January, February:   8:30AM - 6:00PM

Step.I


Select SSID named "peace_memorial_park" at Wi-Fi Settings of your iPhone.

Step.II


Start Safari on your iPhone. You can see the registration page.
Click "Register" button at the bottom of the page.

Step.III


Click "Accept.". And click "Continue" button on the page.

Step.IV


Input your E-mail address. (If you don't have E-mail address, input "non" instead of E-mail address.)
Input Password (8 to 12 non-whitespace characters) which you like.
Input same Password to Confirm Password.
Input your name.
and, click "Continue" button.

Step.V


Input E-mail address which you registered above.
Input Password which you registered above.
and, click "Continue" button.

Step.VI


Then you will see this page if your E-mail address and Password are correct.
You can use Internet freely after this page.


I tried speed test at this hotspot. The results are below.

There is another hotspot near Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.


It is a cafe "Maypretty" in which waitresses are cute maid-style.
You have to order drinks or foods, but you can use Internet via Wi-Fi (IEEE802.11b/g).
Maps are below.


"Maypretty" is opposite side of the shop "animate" which sells manga and anime.
In "Maypretty", select SSID named "FREESPOT" at Wi-Fi Settings of your iPhone.
And you can use Internet connection without any registrations.


I tried speed test at this hotspot. The results are below.
